About this Assessment

Do you want to test your specific talent for learning a foreign or second language before investing hundreds of hours in a language training program? The Modern Language Aptitude Test (MLAT), published by the Language Learning and Testing Foundation, is designed to predict a student’s likelihood of success and ease in learning a foreign language. The test can be used to predict success in learning all basic communication skills, but particularly speaking and listening, grammar and vocabulary.
