About this Assessment

We offer language proficiency examination align to Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR), international language proficiency descriptor, for different proficiency levels.

Our language proficiency examination can be used in conjunction with our one-on-one group language courses as a summative assessment or can be used as an independent tool to establish a person’s current language proficiency level.

We also offer a service to develop language proficiency exams targeting specific to the client’s needs.

Available Languages:

Arabic, Cantonese, Indonesian, Farsi, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin (Traditional and Simplified), Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Tetum, Thai, Turkish, Tagalog, Tok Pisin and Vietnamese (North and South).

Exam mode: online or in-person at CIT Bruce campus

• Total hours: 3 hours 35 minutes
• Location: Bruce or Virtual
• Exam Structure: Level 4 Exam Structure - New
